Chris Brown Will 'Never' Discuss Rihanna Relationship
R&B star Chris Brown refuses to answer interviewers' questions about his relationship with Rihanna - because he hates discussing his personal life with strangers. The "Kiss Kiss" hitmaker has been romantically linked to the "Umbrella" beauty for months, but both singers have continually denied they are a couple, despite being snapped in public kissing and cuddling.
And Brown insists he will always keep the media guessing about his love life.
He tells WENN, "Nobody wants to focus on what's positive, they want to know about my personal life. Every interview I do, they're like, 'So, how are you and such and such doing?' And I'm like, I don't know you, why you all in my business? So that's my take on it personally."
Chris Brown To Launch Dance Competition TV Series
R&B star Chris Brown is set to enter the reality TV industry by launching his own dance competition series. The Kiss Kiss hitmaker frequently shows off his fancy footwork in his music videos and live performances, and now he is to give wannabe dancers a chance to strut their stuff on his forthcoming show.
The currently untitled project, which will focus on hip-hop and street dance culture, will see contestants go up against one another in a variety of dance-offs, with Brown choosing the winner of each round.
Speaking of the program, Brown says, "Dancing is more than just a way of moving, it's a different expression of music. That's what I want to focus on with this show."
Reality TV guru Mark Burnett and his business partner J.D. Roth will produce the program, which is due to be pitched to TV networks next week, reports Variety.
Chris Brown upset over song leak
New Chris Brown music has been popping up on the web - and the American singer is not happy about it.
The 19-year-old is frustrated that fans have been listening to a song called Electric Guitar that's supposed to be off his third album, due out next year.
"I'm mad that it's leaked," he said in a recent interview. "The record's not finished. It's supposed to be me and Rihanna's duet."
Electric Guitar would be yet another collaboration between Brown and his rumoured girlfriend. He appeared on a remix to her smash hit Umbrella last year, and he's listed as a co-writer on her latest No 1 hit, the dance song Disturbia.
"It's fun being creative and even if you have a concept in your head to write about, you can write it and give it to someone else because it might not personally fit you, but it might be an idea you have," said Brown.
"So with (Rihanna) that was an idea I had. I just wanted to go totally left and kind of weird, and that's what I threw at her."
Brown is still riding high off the success of his second album, Exclusive, released last year.
It was rereleased in June with new material, including the song Forever, which is now No 2 on the US chart, a notch below Rihanna.
"Having the support of my fans on the second round was just incredible, and it's even getting bigger now," he said of his success.
He also said he's working on a new reality show about break-dancing: "We're going to do our thing and have a lot of fun."
